With less than a year until the presidential elections, Colombia is debating how to guarantee a safe and transparent electoral process. RCN reported on Intexus’s vision: implementing biometric facial recognition at polling stations and moving toward digital voting systems that eliminate the risk of impersonation and fraud. David Rojas proposed a technological roadmap that includes real-time identity verification, biometric voter registration, and digital chain of custody for votes. Intexus not only offers a solution but also has experience in mass identification projects with the government, which supports this proposal.
