The newspaper La República covered Intexus’ initiative to create a digital vaccination passport through Vecard, a solution that, in the midst of the pandemic, sought to solve one of the most urgent problems of mobility and access to services.
In the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, Intexus, through Vecard, developed a digital vaccination passport that allowed for the secure, rapid, and seamless verification of a person’s immunization status. La República highlighted this initiative as an example of Colombian technological innovation applied to a global public health problem. The solution integrated identity verification, digital credential management, and data protection, demonstrating that identity technology can play a decisive role in responses to humanitarian and health emergencies.
